LS-Plume® is a LASEA tool for simulating ablation profiles produced by ultrafast laser processing. It allows the simulation of scanned lines and areas, as well as cavities drilled by laser precession. A growing list of materials, from metals to dielectrics, is available.
Currently, three different modules are available: Area, Precess and Percussion
Simulates the ablation profile of a scanned line or area resulting from the overlapping of different parallel lines separated by a user-defined pitch.
Simulates the ablation profile of a cavity produced using the precession technique.
Simulates the ablation profile of a cavity produced by laser percussion.
